Lindwurmon

This is Blazermon’s dark ultimate evolution, its clique but every digimon goes through this, wither it’s in mega, ultimate, or digi-armor evolution. Lindwurmon is beserk, he won’t listen to anything I say and is uncontrollable, but physically weak.  I decided that his technique was to defeat opponents indirectly through deceit and stuff. Luckily he’s not like other Lindwurmon who are intelligent cowards and instead goes on a rampage using Hex Hands and Burning Wraith; feeding on any fear that it causes, which makes it stronger, harder to defeat, and crazier. I somewhat copied the basic form off of some webcomic I saw and converted it, the big problem was trying to come up with a name for this thing. Spent two days shifting through wiki for some kind of poisonous serpent like creature. Whenever I typed in “swamp dragon”, or “dragon that lives in swamps” I got nothing. I decided that the official backstory of the digimon would have a Norse like background due to me reading Beowulf as I came up with the concept. The ring on its tail is an infernal ring, the demonic version of the Holy ring and an indirect salute to LORD OF THE RINGS. 

And like always the background is half-assed.

Lindwurmon

Based on the Lindwurm a poisonous mythological serpent

Attacks/ techniques:

Deceitful Mist: Lindwurmon breathes out a stream of whiteish-grey mist, akin to fog into the surronding area. The mist is hard to see through and works to separate groups apart to make it easier for Lindwurmon to prey upon them. Once separated the mist generates a semi material illusion of the prey’s worst fears. Lindwurmon feeds on this fear, which increases its strength and the strength of its illusions. Eventually if left in the effects the illusion will delete Lindwurmon’s prey. This attack works better in dark constricted spaces such as caves, tunnels, the inside of buildings, ect; or in places where mist naturally forms. The wider the area the more disperse the mist becomes the less effective the attack is as the concentration goes down. The attack becomes ineffective in wide sunny/bright areas and is then used to cover Lindwurmon’s escape.

Hex Hands: The Clawed hands on its back legs disappear, and then reappear up above in the sky or space before a ceiling, growing eyes on their palms like Lindwurmon’s. They then descend to harass its enemies punching or slamming them into the ground. Lindwurmon can see through these eyes giving it better vision.

Burning Wraith: Lindwurmon opens its mouth wide letting lose all the green fire in its body which form into a flaming version of Lindwurmon minus its chains and back legs leaving its purple skin a lifeless husk. It then flies around attacking with green flames and sometimes passing through its enimies leaving burns. It can possess them, but only for a limited time usually just enough to use its host to attack its comrades with a special attack or two before returning to its body. While using this attack it can’t be physically harmed, but its digi-core is left somewhat exposed to attack.

Info: Once a mighty warrior, brought down by greed, he killed his father over a special ring and other treasures that was given to his father as wergild for the death of his youngest child. However, the giver of these treasures had stolen the ring and the original owner cursed it so that it would bring mayhem and tragedy to whoever held it. The mighty warrior having taken the ring was transformed into a ferocious wyrm that feeds on the fear of others and guards its treasures jealously. It prefers lairing up in caves, plausibly near swamps using its glowing green flames to draw in victims.
